North Shields Comedy Club is making The Loading Bay its new permanent home — an intimate space that’s absolutely perfect for comedy. After a run of packed-out shows upstairs, this is the next chapter: a proper club, a regular home, and the start of something even more special.

🎤 John Robertson
A cult hero of the Edinburgh Fringe, repeatedly tipped as “not to be missed” by The Guardian. Known for wild, high-energy, boundary-pushing shows and an unmatched connection with the crowd.
🎤 Glenn Wool
An international stand-up heavyweight seen on John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show, 8 Out of 10 Cats, and Russell Howard’s Good News. Effortlessly smart, brutally funny, and one of the best storytellers on the circuit.
🎤 Sinéad Walsh
One of the most exciting rising voices in comedy. Praised for her punk-rock stage presence, she’s a regular at top clubs and festivals, including Coco Comedy Club and Vancouver Fringe Festival.
🎤 Si Beckwith
As heard on BBC Radio, finalist for Harrogate Comedian of the Year, and praised for his razor-sharp wit and fearless contemporary comedy.
