Table Bookings


Tables will be available for walk in customers from the street but due to Covid-19 we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
Each booking can be made for tables up to 6 people from the same household eating a substantial meal, we are’t allowed to just serve alcohol. Table bookings are 90 minutes for up to 4 people and 120 minutes for between 5 to 6 people.
Tables can be cancelled 24 hours in advance, cancellations after that will be charged at £15.00 per person.

Your Safety


Salt Market Social is one of the most socially distant venues in the region, thanks to its massive 740 sqm. industrial space.

All food and drinks ordered are delivered to your table. Despite having an official capacity of 450 when fully open, the venue is currently set out to seat 200 people ensuring a safe space with plenty of room for people to enjoy the fully socially distanced environment.

What We’re Doing

– Ask you to scan a QR code with your smartphone for Track And Trace purposes. We will also be taking everyones temperature as a precaution.
– Staggering pre booked arrival times to reduce queuing.
– One way system from your entrance to exit
– Providing hand sanitiser upon arrival and throughout the venue.
– Providing table service for food and drinks
– Clearly marked pathways to the toilets
– Signage to remind people to stay 2m apart
– Ensuring vendors and staff wear face coverings and
follow the government’s safety guidelines at all times

What You Can Do

– Book your table of up to 6 people in advance from one household.
– Arrive healthy and without COVID-19 symptoms.
– Wait outside until your full party has arrived.
– Arrive on time so you’re ready to go.
– Wear a face covering at all times apart from when eating and drinking.
– Follow the one way system.
– Use hand sanitiser & wash your hands.
– Scan the QR Codes provided and register so we can track and trace if necessary.
– Practice social distancing.

Yes! There is no parking at the venue itself, but Pay And Display parking is available on Bell Street, a 2 minute walk away.
Do I need to book in advance?
Booking in advance is essential to guarantee your table, however walk-ins are always welcome and we will try our best to accommodate you. All reservations require a £20 deposit which will be deducted from your final bill. We will refund a deposit for any booking cancelled at least 24 hours prior to arrival time.


Can I book for more than 6 people?
Due to government guidelines regarding social distancing we cannot facilitate the grouping of tables to accommodate parties in excess of 6, or the mixing of people from more than one table as this would be in contradiction of the legislation. Therefore the largest group you can book for is 6. You can make multiple bookings but please be aware that we won’t be able to group tables in similar locations.
How Long Is My Booking For?
Table bookings are 90 minutes for up to 4 people and 120 minutes for between 5 to 6 people
How do I order food & drinks?
You can request food tokens (worth £3 each) from our waiting staff which can be exchanged for meals and snacks direct with our vendors. Menus for all the food stalls will be on your table alongside an extensive drinks menu. To adhere to social distancing guidelines we politely ask that only one member of your party orders the food. Once ordered the vendors will bring the food direct to your table but please be aware that if you are ordering from multiple vendors the food may arrive at different times. Drinks orders will be taken by our waiting staff, added to your tab and brought to your table. At the end of your reservation our waiting staff will present you with your bill (minus any unused tokens).
To minimise contact between our staff and customers we strongly encourage contactless payments where possible, however we do accept cash as an alternative.
What happens if I am late for my reservation?
We may give your table away if you arrive more than 15 minutes after your booking.

Will There Be Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten free options?
YES! Food stalls will have options for all dietary requirements, but keep an eye out for individual street food trader updates for more details.
Allergies and Intolerances
Please note that you MUST notify the food vendors before you order of any allergy or intolerance issues that you may have.
