The Baytones have been skanking their way across the North East since 2019 – bringing a fresh spin on classic ska and reggae with a set packed full of soulful originals and sunshine-soaked covers ☀️🎶
They’re not a tribute band – they’re a celebration of the genre, putting their own twist on the rhythms of Jamaica, with brass that pops and grooves that get your feet moving before your brain catches up.
After a tough few years (including a pandemic and the loss of their original drummer Spikey Barnet), the band regrouped, rebuilt, and came back swinging – tighter, louder, and more determined than ever to do what they do best: get people dancing.
